Jacob Henry Sarratt (kb. 1772–1819) a 18. század végétől a 19. század elejéig Anglia vezető sakkmestere volt, valamint az első jelentős angol nyelvű sakkíró. Írásai úttörő jelentőségűek voltak mind a játék tárgyalásmódja, mind pedig az angol nyelvű sakkirodalom megalapozása szempontjából.
