A true rarity in the history of book production, this early miniature volume measures only 50 × 35 mm. One of the smallest works in our literature, it was first published in 1760 in Kolozsvár and printed by István Páldi Székely. In earlier editions, the monogram B. H. W. M. appears at the end of the preface, referring to Baron Miklós Wesselényi of Hadad. As he was only nine years old at the time, it is more likely that the work was authored by his tutor, Dániel Cornides.
Contemporary, somewhat worn leather binding, with the monogram P. G. on the cover and blind-stamped frame decoration on the inside of the boards. The title page and the last leaf have been replaced with copies.
