A metszetet gazdag díszítés jellemzi: a tengereken vitorláshajók láthatók, a jobb oldali szegélyen Nagy-Britannia és Anglia címerei kaptak helyet (utóbbi a címkartusba integrálva). A jobb alsó sarokban lévő mértékkartust bukolikus alakok, köztük két bárány és egy körzőt tartó puttó fogja közre.

A highly detailed map of England and Wales, ranging from the coast of Ireland to the North Sea, and from Scotland south to the English Channel and Calais. Large number of cities, towns, and villages are identified, including London, Cardiff, Bristol, and Cambridge, with counties clearly distinguished. The map also labels the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, and several locations along the Irish coast, including Dublin.

The map is richly decorated with sailing ships navigating the surrounding seas. The coats of arms of Great Britain and England appear along the right border, with the English arms incorporated into the title cartouche. A secondary cartouche in the lower right, containing the scale of miles, is flanked by pastoral figures, including two sheep and a cherub with a compass.
