A Kálózdi János által megzenésített vers kottájának első kiadása. Egy hajtott folio levél, középen a kotta, a negyediken a teljes költemény.
Egykorú források szerint már 1848. április 22-én elhagyta a nyomdát. Különös művelődéstörténeti jelentőségét a címlapon látható kőnyomatos ábrázolás adja. Ezen Petőfi látható, amint a Nemzeti Múzeum lépcsőjének párkányán szaval. Ennek alapján terjedhetett el a köztudatban az a máig élő legenda, amely szerint a költő a Múzeumkertben elmondta a verset. Ezt azonban semmilyen tény nem támasztja alá, egyetlen forrás -- így Petőfi naplója -- sem említi. A kép készítője ismeretlen.

According to contemporary sources, it left the printing house on April 22, 1848. Its special cultural historical significance is given by the lithographic depiction on the title page. It shows Petőfi reciting on the ledge of the steps of the National Museum. This may have been the basis for the legend that still exists in the public consciousness, according to which the poet recited the poem in the Museum Garden. However, this is not supported by any facts, and no source - including Petőfi's diary - mentions it. The creator of the image is unknown.
