A címzett (1923-2009) közgazdász, politikus, 1962-67 között a Magyar Népköztársaság pénzügyminisztere volt.

Jakubovszkij, Ivan Ignatyevics  (1912-1976) szovjet harckocsizó ezredes, a háború után (1967) marsall. A Vörös Hadsereg azon tisztjei közé tartozott, akik karrierjüket a második világháborúban alapozták meg. A 9. harckocsidandár parancsnokaként egységével Sztálingrádnál esett át a tűzkeresztségen. Ezután megfordult a kurszki csatában, majd végig harckocsizó egységeket irányított szovjet területeken és Lengyelországon át egészenBerlinig. A háború után 1957-től Németországban szolgált, mint a szovjet megszálló csapatok főparancsnok-helyettese, majd parancsnoka. 1967-től a Varsói Szerződés egyesített fegyveres erőinek főparancsnoka. Második világháborús emlékirata érdekes bepillantást nyújt a páncélosok kemény harcaiba. 1976-ban megjelent magyar nyelven is.

Kiadói festett egészvászon kötésben, jó állapotban.

Copy dedicated to Mátyás Tímár in calligraphic writing on the title page - as Marshal of the Soviet Union - and with the author's autograph signature, June 23, 1975. The recipient (1923-2009) was an economist, politician, and was the Minister of Finance of the Hungarian People's Republic between 1962-67.

Yakubovsky, Ivan Ignatyevich (1912-1976) Soviet tank colonel, after the war (1967) marshal. He was one of the officers of the Red Army who founded their careers in World War II. As commander of the 9th Tank Brigade, he and his unit underwent their baptism of fire at Stalingrad. He then participated in the Battle of Kursk, and then commanded tank units throughout the Soviet territories and through Poland to Berlin. After the war, he served in Germany from 1957 as deputy commander-in-chief and then commander of the Soviet occupation forces. From 1967, he was the commander-in-chief of the combined armed forces of the Warsaw Pact. His memoirs of World War II provide an interesting insight into the fierce battles of the tankmen.
