Cassini gyönyörű, kézzel színezett rézmetszetű térképe Magyarország és az európai Törökország címmel, mely Görögországot és a Balkánt, Németországot, a mai Ukrajnát és Olaszország egyes részeit is ábrázolja. A Földközi-tenger keleti részét, a Velencei-öblöt és a Fekete-tengert ábrázolja.

Cassini's beautiful, hand-coloured copper engraved map of Greece and the Balkans, also including parts of Germany, today's Ukraine and Italy. It shows the eastern Mediterranean, the Gulf of Venice and the Black Sea.

In the lower right corner sits an impressive title cartouche showing female and male Ottoman figures, flags, guns and ammunition. Three sets of mileage scales are in the opposite corner of the map.

The map, which was commissioned from Cassini by the Calcografia Camerale of Rome in 1788 is included in the first volume of the work Nouvo Atlante Geografico Universale Delineato sulle Ultime Osservazione published in 1792.  Subsequently, the second and third volumes were published in 1797 and 1801, respectively.
