Tata színezett rézmetszetű látképe. A Buda eleste után végvárrá előlépett erősség a tizenötéves háború során többször cserélt gazdát, de a törökök hosszabb időre nem tudták megtartani. 1605-ben Bocskai csapatai foglalták el. A nyugati irányból, felülnézetből felvett képen a mocsarak által védett, bástyás külső védőfalon belül jól látható a Mátyás idején kiépült reneszánsz palota kissé romos, átalakított épülete. A verson latin nyelvű magyarázó szöveg.

Coloured copper engraved view of Tata (German: Totis; Latin: Dotis). The fortress, which became a stronghold after the fall of Buda, changed hands several times during the Fifteen Years' War, but the Turks were unable to hold it for any length of time. In the top view from the west, inside the bastioned outer ramparts, protected by marshes, you can see the slightly ruined, converted Renaissance palace of the reign of Matthias. Explanatory text in Latin on the verso.
