Melchior de Polignac (1661 – 1742) francia katolikus teológus, diplomata és bíboros „Anti-Lucretius” című, először 1747-ben posztumusz megjelent didaktikus költeményének korai lipcsei kiadása. Szerkesztette és az előszót írta Johann Christoph Gottsched. A szerző metszett portréjával az elején, a második levélen Marie Antoinette portréjával.
A szennylapon Bajtay József Antal (1717–1773) erdélyi püspök Lázár János (1703–1772) barokk íróhoz címzett költeményével. Korabeli bőrkötésben, bordázott és vaknyomásos gerinccel, címvignettával, körül festett lapszélekkel. A lapok foxingosak.
