Esztergom ritka, nagyméretű, színes térképe. Magyar népi hímzést imitáló, zöld-piros színezésű, díszes kerettel, a kartuson, Vaszary Kolos Ferenc bíboros-hercegprímás portréjával. Két melléktérképpel (az egyházmegye áttekintője kerületek szerint, ill. Budapest egyházi beosztása), illetve négy fényképpel Magyarország főbb egyházi épületeiről: Pozsonyi székesegyház (Szent Márton-dóm), Budapesti Szent István Bazilika, Budapesti koronázó templom (Budavári Nagyboldogasszony-templom, ismertebb nevén Mátyás-templom), Esztergomi főszékesegyház (Esztergomi Bazilika).

Vászonra vont, restaurált. Erős, látványos színezéssel, a lapszélek mentén elszíneződés, apróbb foltok, melyek a térkép mező szélét alig érintik. A kartus fölött a kereten kívül a Magyar Földrajzi Intézet gumibélyegzője és tintás leltári feljegyzés.

This is a rare, large-sized, colored map of Esztergom, featuring a decorative border designed to imitate traditional Hungarian folk embroidery in green and red tones. At the center of the cartouche is a portrait of Cardinal Prince-Primate Kolos Ferenc Vaszary. The map includes two inset maps – one showing the diocesan districts and another illustrating the ecclesiastical division of Budapest – as well as four photographs depicting major ecclesiastical buildings in Hungary: St. Martin's Cathedral in Pressburg, St. Stephen's Basilica in Budapest, the Coronation Church (also known as the Church of Our Lady or Matthias Church) in Buda Castle, and the Esztergom Basilica.

Scale: 1:175,000. Sheet size: 136×128 cm.

Restored, mounted on canvas. Strong, vivid coloring, with some browning and small stains along the edges, barely touching the map’s field. Above the cartouche, outside the frame, rubber stamp of the Hungarian Geographical Institute and an ink inventory note.
