Wernher Magnus Maximilian Freiherr von Braun (1912-1977) német tudós, a rakétatudomány és az űrrepülés kiemelkedő alakja. A második világháború előtt és alatt a Harmadik Birodalom rakétaprogramjának, a megtorlófegyverek fejlesztésének, majd 1945-től az Egyesült Államok rakéta- és űrrepülési programjának egyik vezetője volt.
