Wien - Berlin, 1934. szeptember 24 - október 3.A magyar judo alapjait Vincze (Vincent) Tibor fektette le, aki az 1930-as évektől japán mesterek útmutatása alapján honosította meg a rendszeres edzéseket. Tanítványával már az 1934-es első Európa-bajnokságon is részt vett, az 1950-es évektől pedig a Testnevelési Főiskola oktatójaként és az Újpesti Dózsa edzőjeként formálta a sportágat. Számos szakkönyv szerzője. A hagyatékából származó levelek és unikális dokumentumok az európai és a hazai cselgáncs kezdeteinek értékes forrásai.

A Bécsben 1934. szeptember 24-én kelt levelében Edmund Gabriel (1901–1997), a sportág felépítésében és népszerűsítésében jeleskedő osztrák judóbajnok, arról tájékoztatja Vincent Tibort, hogy Klinnek úr mindenben a segítségére lesz, amennyiben részt tud venni az 1934. október 31 – november 3. között megrendezésre kerülő Európa-bajnokságon. A levél további részében Gabriel a szakág új, az adott év nyarán életbe lépett, a japán rendszerhez igazodó uniós szabályzatát ismerteti.

September 28-án kelt levelében Werner Glasenapp, az Európai Judo Szövetség ügyvezető elnöke, hírül adja az 1934-ben megrendezésre kerülő első Judo Európa-bajnokságot, valamint érdeklődik, hogy az október 30–november 1. között Berlinben megtartandó nemzetközi versenyre Vincent Tibor küld-e versenyzőt, és ha igen, milyen súlycsoportban.

Edmund Gabriel (1901–1997), the Austrian judo champion who played a key role in developing and popularizing the sport, informs Tibor Vincent that Mr. Klin will assist him in all matters provided he is able to attend the European Championship to be held between 31 October and 3 November 1934. In the remainder of the letter, Gabriel outlines the new union regulations of the discipline, introduced in the summer of that year and aligned with the Japanese system.

The introduction of judo in Hungary is attributed to Tibor Vincent (1904–c.198?). In 1928, he trained under Japanese masters active in Europe and soon began teaching his own students; by the 1930s, he had established regular, professionally supervised judo instruction in Hungary.
In addition to the three letters addressed to Vincent, the collection includes unique items related to judo.
