Nevéhez fűződik a magyar vezérek és királyok egészalakos portrésorozata, a Mausoleum potentissimorum ac gloriosissimorum Regni Apostolici Regum et primorum militantis Ungariae Ducum [Magyarország hatalmas és dicső királyainak emlékeztető koporsóépülete] címmel 1664-ben Nürnbergben kiadott metszetsorozat megjelentetése. A magyar királyok ábrázolásait latin- és németnyelvű leírás egészíti ki.

Ferenc Nádasdy was one of the wealthiest magnates of the country and a patron of science and the arts. He was responsible for the publication of a full-length portrait series of Hungarian leaders and kings. The depictions of the Hungarian kings are accompanied by descriptions in both Latin and German.
