A metszet a Chamonix-völgyet ábrázolja, a kilátópontról a szemlélő áttekintheti a Mont Blanc-masszívum nagy részét és a völgyfeneket, követve az Arve folyó vonalát.

Lapméret: 48.5×39 cm.

Enyhe foltokkal, minimális barnulással. Jobbról és balróla a margók szűken vágva, a képmező teljes. Látványos veduta, becses és ritka.
