Henry de Montherlant (1895-1972) francia író, esszéista drámája janzenizmusról, kereszténységről, vallásról.

A szerző André Grandmougin-nek 1954. június 16-án dedikált kötete: „A Monsieur André Grandmougin, Cet épisode d'une très sombre histoire, où chacun, sans doute, comme en toutes les histoires de ce monde, avait raison. Hommage de Montherlant.”

A műből 250 számozott, Arches-i velinre nyomtatott, René Aubert 12 eredeti litográfiáját tartalmazó példány készült. Ebből 20 példány plusz tizenkettő kínai papírra és tizenkettő Arches-i velinre nyomtatott litográfiát, valamint egy eredeti rajzot is tartalmaz. Jelen kötet ebből az első (I./20/250) számozott példány, ám az eredeti rajz hiányzik.

Felvágatlan ívek, fűzés nélküli kiadói félvászon kötésben, hozzátartozó kartondobozzal. A két extralitografált sorozat önálló mappában. Nagyon szép, tiszta példány.

Edition of 250 numbered copies, printed on Arches vellum, numbered by the publisher and illustrated with 12 original lithographs by René Aubert. Of these, 20 copies contain an extra twelve lithographs printed on Chinese paper and twelve on Arches velin, plus one original drawing. Present volume is the first (I./20/250) of these twenty copies, but the original drawing is missing.
